Tummy Tuck Beauty After Pregnancy

I am so not loving Jessica Alba’s Charlie Chaplin impersonation!

The June issue of Allure depicts the 27-year-old Alba dressed like the funny man and holding a baby carriage. However cute she may be, she certainly doesn’t pass muster as Chaplin. I wonder how she will be in her latest comedy, The Love Guru.

Pregnant Jessica just may be on the verge of getting a tummy tuck surgery after she gives birth to her child. In an interview with Elle magazine last year, she has this to say about plastic surgery, “I'm not going to say never for sure, though. I don't know if, for example, having babies will stretch my stomach beyond what is acceptable.”

Now that’s a concern a lot of mums have to deal with post-pregnancy: stretched skins. The distended stomach does not retain its lost muscle strength after the mother has given birth to the child.

Cosmetic surgery procedures like a tummy tuck surgery are great ways to get the loose belly tissues tightened and held in place.

If Jessica really does go in for an abdominoplasty to tighten her abdomen and get rid of sagging skin, she should give good thought to whether she wants to have more babies in the future. Pregnancies after a tummy tuck procedure tend to loosen the muscles and tissues again, rendering the first process of not much use.
