Early Tummy Tuck For Teen Moms – Totally Not Cool:

Jamie Lynn Spears is all of 17, a college hopeful, unmarried and heavily pregnant. And oh, for those out of the loop, she also happens to be Britney Spears’ kid sister. Insofar, she has managed to carry herself with a lot of grace and gumption for her age unlike her troubled elder sister. But sociologists wonder what trends this celebrity teen pregnancy foretells for the rest of the teens out there, especially girls who look up to famous figures for role-models. Today’s Mirror states one mother of a teen mom to have put her daughter on the Pill as soon as she hit pregnancy. But if teenagers are so open to having babies, they exhibit a similar attitude towards plastic surgery. Both these issues have implications that are long-lasting and have a tendency to court complications that may be harmful. Having a tummy tuck surgery after delivering a baby is not uncommon for new mothers as some want to get back in shape and lose excess skin and regain tummy elasticity. Club a tummy tuck surgery with a 14 or 18 year-old who has just delivered and the repercussions this may have on their yet growing bodies can be rather bad. Top plastic surgeons at the Plastic Surgery Institute of California do not recommend having a tummy tuck surgery or a breast augmentation or any body modifying cosmetic procedure at such a young age. A responsible decision made early on can be of great help later in life.
